Try those new boots/shoes, winter gear and more. Hike to be moderate level on the trails in the Port Jervis Watershed Park. Bring a snack and water but be sure to wear warm clothing and sturdy footwear.
Hike will be weather permitting, icy conditions and rain will postpone though we will hike in snow.

Yes, this is TOMORROW. Hiking some trails in progress and others planned. High end of moderate. Sturdy boots/shoes, water and snack recommended. 4-5+ miles in length. To be safe, wear bright colors. Parking lot is on right before waterplant entrance. Traffic cones will be placed to reserve parking for you.
CANCELLED DUE TO EXPECTED WEATHER……..Full Moon Hike Nov ‘25
The Full Moon for this hike is known as the Beaver Moon and will also be a supermoon, meaning it will appear larger and brighter than other full moons because its orbit is closest to Earth. This is the 2nd of 3 consecutive supermoons.
Bring a flashlight/headlamp, good hiking shoes/boots, water and a snack, if desired. Hike will be moderate intensity and will 2 to 2-1/2 miles and last 90-120 minutes. Kids and adults are all welcome.
Rain will cancel this event if needed.
